An interactive tour of the brain for college students.
This interactive learning exercise was created for Professor Wanda Ward PhD for use in her
graduate-level Cognitive Psychology course at North Park University.
These are a representative sampling of movies created to illustrate
principles in brain anatomy and psychology. They were part of
the interactive version of Psychology and Life by
Philip G. Zimbardo with Richard J. Gerrig (Addison-Wesley).
The first shows the parts of the brain and discusses their functions.
The second illustrates transduction, the process by which sound as
change in air pressure is converted to neurological impulses.
An interactive constellation-identification exercise for middle school students.
The team that used this exercise placed fifth (out of 43) in
the Illinois Science Olympiad competition in 2008.
This animated virtual tour and set of screengrabs are from "De
Naturalized," an exhibition
of the Permanent Collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. Two kiosks displaying the
interactive exhibition were placed in a Museum gallery with some of the pieces drawn from the Collection.
